Per spent 14 years at Google, where he led a Google Maps team serving over a billion users, and worked on natural language generation at Google Research. Before that, he was at Microsoft and Vermeer Technologies (acquired by Microsoft), and has founded multiple companies.

He also directed a feature film that screened at the Milan, Santa Barbara, and Brooklyn international film festivals, and an award-winning environmental short at the Santa Cruz Film Festival — bringing an unusual blend of technical depth and creative storytelling to everything he builds.
